Madhuri Mulekar received her Ph.D. in Statistics from Oklahoma State University and is the chair of mathematics and statistics department at University of South Alabama. She is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. As a member of Test Development Committee, she helped develop tests and rubrics for AP-statistics exams. She has conducted several teacher-training workshops in many states and has developed a course for high school mathematics teachers to train them for teaching statistics in high schools. She has published teaching-related papers in journals and co-authored textbooks.
