Developing Student Ideas in Physical Science

Deep understanding of concepts in science requires students to work through their ideas along with scientific investigation. This session will discuss methods to help students work through the development of physical science concepts through engagement with big ideas, prompting and encouraging students to develop their own ideas about concepts, and supporting students through the development of accurate scientific explanations.
